When you arrive at Consolidated Baptist Church, our parking attendants will direct you to our First-Time Guest parking spots. When you enter the building, you will be met by one of our friendly greeters who will direct you to the sanctuary, classrooms, or the children’s registration kiosk. If your children are shy, they can accompany you to the adult service, but most children thoroughly enjoy our Children’s Ministry. At 9:25 and 10:30, we have a nursery for children ages six weeks through four years old. Additionally, at 9:25, we have Sunday school classes for children from pre-school through high school, and we have Children’s Worship and Youth Worship at 10:30. As you enter the sanctuary, an usher will provide a warm welcome, offer you a worship guide, and help you find a seat.
We encourage people to dress comfortably, which could mean different things to different people. Some prefer to dress up, but others prefer to dress casually. We do not judge people based on how they dress. We simply ask that you dress modestly.
We like to acknowledge our guests, but you do not have to say anything. We want you to be comfortable and enjoy the service
Our services begin with spirit-filled music that creates an atmosphere that invites people from every generation, ethnicity, and background to worship God. You will also hear a dynamic message from the Word of God that will inspire and encourage you to live according to the Scriptures. At the end of our services, we have a time of invitation. This time is set aside for anyone who wishes to accept Christ as his/her Savior or to unite with our church.
All of the messages are available on CD.
At the end of each worship service, an Invitation to Christ will be extended. At this time, you may come forward to make your profession of faith in Christ as a candidate for baptism. If you have already acknowledged Christ. accepted Him as your Savior, and been baptized by immersion, you can unite with our church by Letter, Christian Experience, or Watch Care. During this time, you will not have to make a public statement. However, one of our wonderful decision counselors will escort you from the sanctuary to another room and talk with you about your decision. We have a four-week New Members Class that will answer questions you may have about our church and about how you can help us share the Gospel.
