At Consolidated Baptist Church (CBC), we embrace the
use of photos, video, and other media to share the Gospel of Jesus, provide
guests with information about what to expect when they attend our worship
services and events, and communicate our mission via our web site, social
media, and other digital/print media to people who do not attend church.
Accordingly, photography, videography, live streaming,
and other recordings may be utilized during CBC services, ministry activities,
classes, and other programs/events, and CBC may use the media recorded at these
events in materials produced by or for the church, including but not limited to
worship guides, banners, brochures, newsletters, flyers, other
printed/electronic materials, and digital or social media.
By participating in CBC’s services, ministry
activities, classes, programs and events: 1) you consent to be recorded as
described above;
2) you grant your permission for CBC to use recordings
containing your image, likeness, voice and/or statements, without compensation,
credit, or other consideration to you, for CBC’s promotion, publicity, and
other purposes, throughout the world and in perpetuity; and
3) you agree to
release, hold harmless, and indemnify Consolidated Baptist Church from any and
all liabilities and claims involving the use of your image, likeness, voice, or
statements.
While we reserve the right to photograph and record
church events, we strive to ensure that photographs and videography are used in
safe and positive ways. We will not knowingly and intentionally post any
photo, video, or other recording that would be embarrassing, objectionable, or
hurtful to any clearly, personally identifiable individual in the recording.
Additionally, if
you see a photo on our website or social media page (Facebook, Instagram,
Twitter) that includes you or your child and would like it removed, please
contact the church at receptionists@consolidatedbaptist.org. Please note
we cannot remove your image from video or live stream messages. Please also
understand that Consolidated Baptist Church has no control over the recording,
use, and posting of images or other media by non-church staff (e.g., church
members, community members, news outlets, etc.) and no ability to remove such media
from publications, including internet or social media sites, that are not run
by Consolidated Baptist Church.
